Collaborating at MujeresMundi is a challenging and rewarding experience. We are looking for volunteers to help us to grow and develop as we promote equality rights and development issues.

 

Currently, we have a few specific volunteer openings, and they are listed below:

 

International Correspondent

Translators (French-English / English-French / Spanish-English / Spanish-French)

 

International correspondent:

MujeresMundi main focus is promoting equality rights and international issues through the written word. By writing articles and publishing them around our network, we spread information and promote awareness on the equality and development issues.

Articles are usually published in weekly issues in our own site. If you are interested in writing articles, there are three types you can submit.

 

Research Papers

3 pages A4 maximum, fully sourced articles on issues pertinent to local or the international community.

Papers can be on anything from gender/development related issues.

 

If you are interested in writing but do not know what topics to explore,do not hesitate to contact us.

 

Comments

Comments are informal opinion pieces on events happening in the world today. They should have sources, but the guidelines regarding them are much more lenient. The recommended length for a comment is 2 pages A4 maximum.

 

Interviews

You can submit interviews to local activist in your community (gender/human rights/animal rights/development/environment). The articles are about victories, successes and inspirational stories. They should be accompanied by at least two pictures. The recommended length for a interview is 2 pages A4 maximum.

 

Translators

 

We are looking for volunteer translators: Spanish-French-English

Positions as volunteers at MujeresMundi are not remunerated. Those are worldwide opportunities (on-line)
